C called me on her way to the studio. “Just warning you, I have to wear self tanner to compete, so I’m not my normal color!” I laughed and reassured her that I understood bodybuilders and fitness competitors tan to help show off their muscle definition. It was the day of the figure competition, and she was stopping by my studio in Tremont on her way to Cincinnati. She had decided to have her portrait shoot on the day of the competition because she would be looking her best–and she was right. Wow. Talk about hard work paying off. The human body is beautiful.
