I have been looking forward to photographing this wedding ever since Kristina and Kevin’s engagement session last fall. Then, Kristina struck me as quiet and serious, and it was fun to see Kevin draw her out and make her laugh. On her wedding day, surrounded by her family and friends, I saw what she’s really like: funny,
We started off at Kristina’s house where her mom and maids helped her get ready. From there, we went to St. John Vianny for the ceremony. One of my favorite moments in a wedding day is the moment after the ceremony; when the couple walks back down the aisle, knowing they’ve just changed their lives forever. And Kristina and Kevin didn’t disappoint: they beamed as they exited the church, waves of happiness rolling off of them as their families blew bubbles to celebrate.
The sun was disappearing behind the trees when we stopped at Coulby Park for some photos, which made me happy because the light was soft and golden. From there, we went to LaMalfa for their reception. All in all, it was a beautiful wedding day.
