Rachel and David stood under a birch tree chuppah, their families behind them, looking at each other. They had just signed their ketubah, and now, after months of planning, they were finally here, under the chuppah, getting married. Rachel couldn’t contain her smile, and David couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Later, after he stomped on the glass, after they danced the hora, after they wowed everyone with an effortlessly graceful first dance, David made a toast that had the whole place in stitches.
