Jessica and Jason’s Youngstown wedding was absolutely gorgeous. From the ceremony at St. Columba Cathedral, to our brief stop at Millcreek Park for photos, to the party at Leo’s Ristorante, Jessica and Jason’s happiness filled every space, every face, and made the day perfect.
I have known this wedding would be fun ever since I photographed Jessica and Jason’s engagement session last fall. Jason loves to make Jessica laugh, and both of them were totally open to creative ideas for poses and locations. And best of all, neither of them was fazed that it rained on their wedding day.
I’m going to admit something here: I love rain. I love rainy wedding days. I don’t love it when the rain pours down, and we can’t get outside at all for a photo. But a little bit of rain on a wedding day makes me happy. It sets an intimate mood and pushes me to be more creative. I may be tempting Fate by putting this in writing, but I’ll take my chances.
