One of my favorite parts of my job as a wedding and portrait photographer is getting to know people, and seeing them during some of the most important moments of their lives. Sometimes, I’m lucky enough to count them as friends later. Brittany and Phil fall into that category, and are some of my favorite people to photograph. The way these two balance each other–her enthusiasm and his dry wit– makes them super fun to be around. Brittany is a warm and friendly person, but when she looks at Phil, there is something deeper in her eyes. I wanted to capture the way he makes her laugh, and the absolute happiness and joy they have together. I’m not sure I succeeded, but here are a few favorites from our downtown Cleveland portrait session:
