Courtney and Mike’s Hilton Columbus at Easton wedding didn’t stop because of stormy clouds and rain. This intimate affair was going ahead no matter what. When I knocked on her hotel room door, Courtney was just ready to step into her dress. Her mom, sister and grandmother were all there to help her and support her on this momentous day. As soon as she was in her lovely lacy dress, we went outside for her first look with Mike. With heavy gray rain clouds overhead, we shot bridal portraits that captured their absolute love and devotion to each other. Eventually, rain drops began dotting the sidewalk, so we moved under the portico of the Hilton for their wedding party photos. The father and stepfather of the bride escorted Courtney down the aisle, and the happiness in the room was palpable. As soon as Courtney and Mike said I Do, they walked up the aisle and out the doors of the ballroom. The moment they were out of sight, they examined each other’s rings in disbelief.
